It was an Aaron Sorkin show that lasted two seasons before being prematurely cancelled [and the first “grown-up” show I watched as an 11-year-old when my parents let me stay up past my bedtime]. It’s smart and funny and you do not have to like sports to like the show. And I promise the laugh track goes away after a few episodes.
